How do you move?
You can reply "N" or "North" to go North. Similarly, you can reply "W", "E", "S" or even "NE", "NW" etc to go in different directions. You can also go "u" for up and "d" for down.
Important commands?
"H" will get you to help. Unfortunately "Help" (since it is a reserved SMS provider term) will not get you to help so make sure to SMS "h". "I" will display your inventory. "Score" will tell you your current Zork score as calclulated by the game itself. "Exit" will exit you from the game. As part of exiting, your game will be lost. After exiting, you can restart by text "Zork" to 41411 and then texting "new game". "M" is used through-out the game to get the next message
Does the game save?
Yes, your game is saved. Because you play via SMS, we can remember your last move in the game.
Common verbs?
Look, take, grab, touch, put, eat, burn, move and even kill if you are feeling adventurous. You'd normally say something like "touch tree" or "kill worm" etc. You can get fancy to like "climb tree" or "examine rock". Try a sentence and if it doesn't work, then try using a different verb.
How do you talk to someone?
You can address someone by stating their name first. So for example, if there was a wizard, you could say "Wizard, take this apple." You can even say two commands, "Wizard, what is your name? Take this book."
